HL Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) provides various systems engineering services and operates a nursery. Through these services, we handle substantial amounts of personal information, and consider appropriate protection of that information and safeguarding individuals' rights and interests to be an important social responsibility. We declare our commitment to using the following personal information protection rules as our standards, establishing a framework to put them into practice, and embedding a robust protection and management system in our business operations.
1. Acquisition, use, and provision of personal information
(1) When acquiring personal information, we specify its purpose of use as clearly as possible and obtain it with consent through lawful and fair means, to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose.
(2) When using personal information, we restrict use to the purposes explicitly presented, notified, or published to the individual, and take measures to prevent use for other purposes.
(3) When providing personal information to third parties or entrusting its handling to another party, we do so lawfully and within the purposes of use to which the individual has consented.
2. Implementation of security measures
To ensure the accuracy of personal information and its safe use, we establish safeguards, including information security measures, and strive to effectively prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage to personal information and to remedy security weaknesses.
3. Appropriate response to complaints and consultations
We respond appropriately and promptly to complaints and consultations from individuals. We also respect the rights of individuals who provide personal information and respond lawfully and without delay to requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, or cessation of use or provision of their information.
4. Compliance with laws, guidelines, and standards
To ensure appropriate protection of personal information, we comply with laws concerning its handling, government guidelines, and other applicable standards.
5. Continuous improvement of the personal information protection management system
We periodically audit the operation of our personal information protection management system, maintaining and continuously improving it to raise the level of personal information protection.

We outsource some personnel management and information systems management operations. We may entrust personal information to service providers. In such cases, we select providers considered to handle personal information appropriately, specify the matters necessary to prevent leakage in contracts and other agreements, and require appropriate management.

Individuals or their representatives may submit requests to our inquiry desk for disclosure and other actions concerning personal information (notification of purposes of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, cessation of use or erasure, or cessation of provision to third parties). We will confirm that the requester is the individual or their representative and respond within a reasonable period. 7. Voluntary provision of personal information
You may decide voluntarily whether to provide personal information to the Company. However, if you do not provide required information, we may be unable to provide our services appropriately.

5. Measures taken for the secure management of retained personal data
We identify specific sources of personal information protection risks affecting retained personal data. To eliminate or reduce those risks, we evaluate and determine measures from organizational, personnel, physical, and technical perspectives and implement the most appropriate safeguards.

We establish personal information handling rules specifying methods, managers, personnel in charge, and their duties at each stage, including acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal.

We regularly train personnel on precautions for handling personal information.
(Physical safeguards)
In areas where personal information is handled, we manage personnel entry and exit, restrict equipment brought into the area, and implement measures to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing personal information.
